CipherHealth Appointment Reminders Save Up to $36.9 Million

This newly released study of real-world customer data shows that hospitals can save between $16.8 million and $36.9 million every year through reduced no-shows, simply by instituting effective appointment reminders. We examined five providers that use appointment reminder functionality, comparing the no-show rates of patients reached by appointment reminders either through phone or text messages, with the no-show rates of patients who were not reached. The results were stark: appointment reminders cut no-show rates by an astounding 71% overall.
