I joined CipherHealth because I saw a great opportunity to bring innovative new technology to the healthcare industry. Everyday I speak with hospital executives and learn how our technology can improve their current processes and help with ongoing initiatives. Over the past two years with Cipher, I have learned that there are numerous opportunities to leverage technology and improve the lives of both clinicians and patients.
In 1994, the idea of watching television from a phone that fits in my pocket was unimaginable.Over the past 20 years, technology has made a huge waves across almost every industry. Two decades ago phones were only used to make calls. Today phones are used for almost everything – shopping, fitness tracking, games, TV, directions, pictures, emails, and even rounding on patients!
We have seen something as simple as sending a message change dramatically. I was not alive for the days of carrier pigeons, but I saw hand written letters, stamps and a trip to the post office turn into a simple email you can even send from your phone. As a kid, I remember watching my mom sit at the table for hours with stacks of papers, writing checks to pay our bills. Now I pay bills online in seconds, and can deposit checks by taking a picture. Its evident that technology has significantly improved many aspects of our lives by making things faster, simpler, and easier to do.
At Cipherhealth, we are bringing the healthcare industry innovative new products and solutions that were once unimaginable, just as how it was once unimaginable to watch my favorite show on a phone.
