Healthcare is an industry that is always changing. New technology, new regulations, and new processes can make it hard to keep up with best practices, and in some cases it can make patient care feel overwhelming. When it comes to technology in healthcare there is a wide variety of tools and resources available for healthcare providers and care takers. A problem we hear often is that providers are inundated with technologies that promise to make processes more efficient, but in reality just make things more difficult.
We find time and again that solutions thought to provide clarity can make things more confusing and takes nurses away from giving their patients undivided attention. We see digital rounding tools that require manual entry of patient information or post-discharge follow-up solutions that require even more time from nurses than before. To us, these technologies are mind boggling and we can’t blame nurses or hospitals who are skeptical of implementing new solutions.
We are committed to collaborating with nurses to determine what would work best for them. It is why we are always improving upon our products and why we have a “yes we can attitude.” Our goal isn’t to use technology to automate processes, instead we are creating solutions that give nurses more time by the bedside. We are one platform to resolve patient issues inside and outside the hospital, we are continuously working with each of our users to personally address their concerns, and we are always dedicated to making sure nurses are empowered to do what they do best – care for their patients.
For us it is not about using technology to automate, it is about using technology to evolve healthcare and make the lives of those who care for us just a bit easier.
